Solemn Silence

Solemn Silence

A Poem by Barbara Walker

Screams echoing,

through memories filled with fear.

I tremble, as if cold,

whispering words,

describing feelings, old.

I shed streams of tears,

leaving my love

in solemn silence.

your expression of reverence for those tears is noteworthy ... not many of us can come to that ...the screams being far to loud :(

Thank you.
A short poem with a lot of thoughts and hidden memories. I like the term "Solemn silence". Sometime silence is what we need. Thank you for the excellent poem.
