Tomorrow Will Be Kinder

Tomorrow Will Be Kinder

A Poem by Faith

Hold me tight and tell me I’m alive

Let me know that you won’t let me fall

It’s harder now than ever to hang on

But I simply can’t let you go

No matter what the pain and sorrow

There’s always a silver lining in the sky

Tomorrow, I know, will always be kinder

I simply don’t know the reason why

Live in the moment despite the hurt

Wounds never last that long

Whenever you’re feeling black and blue

I’ll hold you until it’s better

We may not live in a fantasy world

And we’re fighting for our lives

But forever and always doesn’t have to end with never

We just have to hang on until the morning light
