Trials of Youth

A child
A small, incredible thing
When they grow, they never lose
That creativity

Still everyone looks and sees
A person still maturing
Til they reach that tender age
And a life anew starts burning

Until that day comes dawning
Forever stuck in lines
Bound to rules forever bonding
Crushing in on all sides

Society looks down on
The little and still learning
But maybe they should look upon
Those bright souls that are burning

Wow the last 2 stanzas are so perfect! The only reccommendation is the 1st stanza is a little too literal for me. But besides that it's great.
