winter.wonderland.

my head resting on your leg

your hand stroking my hair

the white snow falling outside

creating a winter wonderland

your eyes are locked with mine

your gaze melting my heart

the fire crackles in the hearth

the warmth flowing over both of us

you stand up

take a hold of my hand

gently put on my coat

kiss my forehead 

you lead me outside

into the winter wonderland

the snow is still falling

drifting slowly to the ground

you grasp my waist

lift me up

twirl me around

laughter escapes my lips

you stop spinning

pull my lips towards yours

plant a soft promise on it

and embrace me

 

we stand outside

In this winter wonderland

as the fire crackles

snow drifting to the ground
