Not all fathers love in the right way.

The darkness creeps in when the sun goes down

Staying up late at night, don’t make a sound

Is there someone here coming for me?

A monster of sorts waiting for me to sleep

He comes in and holds me down

Pressure against so I can’t breathe

Silent cries fall on deaf ears

He’s done and I’m alone

So much blood used to spill out on the floor

Yet now it’s just my tears as he takes more

Will someone help me to become free?
