OF Wild Flowers and Thorns

OF Wild Flowers and Thorns

A Poem by Tallulah
"

Aiming for perfection has its consequences....

"

Something so pure
Stained by something so tainted
Something poisioned
Wish not
Want not
Hope not
For all has been forsakened

She's been painted black
Fallen from the glory
Of an angelic white
to the forsakeen black
Of demon's eyes

Red
Bleeds under her skin
And flushed her
Withit ruby color
Of corruption

 In her undying quest
To perfection
She caused herself
To fall withing
Hell's fiery pit
Punishment is what
She received
In place of perfection.

 She suffered for her pursuit
of something better
than life in the garden of Eden
Playing among angels

She strayed
Purity is what she was
A wild flower
among weeds and thorns
but she wilted and died
And soon that wild flower
Was no more
Leaving nothing
but a mess of thorns behind...

Cool! I really liked it! Great imagery! It had a lot of detail! I look forward to reading more of your writing! This poem sounds like it could be a song! Great job, again!
