A Poem by Doll

Tired.
Too much happened to mention.
right here; right now. Too much; too late
and now it's back to where you started.

Circle; round round we go.

Skies fly by go down get up, leaving life behind;
rewind, create; rise & fall.
Rise and shine, give it a try.
maybe. next time.

Circle; round round we go.

Do the wrong thing; watch yourself break. Pity.
Walk the line; between the sentiments.
You are done. Lay down; wake up.
Repeat & See.

Circle; round round we go.

Disappear and crawl back out.
Dive into the red sun followed by black and blue and grey;
you are alone here.
Feel it; swallow.

Circle; round round we go.

Guilty your mind and empty your eyes;
sleep overcome. Creeping just beyond consciousness
& stealing your sanity.
Look ahead; tell me what you see.

Circle; round round we go.

Powerful, and 'forcing' piece. I thought that the sudden periods and semicolons in here didn't make it choppy, just more demanding. And I like the 'Circle; round round we go.' repitition. I agree with wolfshrew, I see song potential in this. Great piece :)

I identify with this in an unfortunate way.

Well done. Objectively well done I think... if that makes sense.
