Singing Birds & Bumble Bees.

Singing Birds & Bumble Bees.

A Poem by Fear Corrupts!

Singing Birds & Bumble Bees.

     Sunlight shining through the trees,

 singing birds & bumble bees.

  *

Matured thoughts, & immature plans,

launched by shared frequencies,

& common scams.

 *

Quick laughs,

over nothing funny.

They clung together,

 merely for easing company.

Out of place in this world,

they were,

But whom all they had,

were only eachother.

Just another old memory.

 Sunlight shining through the trees,

                   singing birds & bumble bees.

I love how this poem seems simplistic, but really isn't. You start off the singing birds and bees and then suddenly you're talking about two people with their walls up and the whole poem is just transferred from something that seemed simple to something that is actually more complex. Well done.

i love this poem
it's so easy to relate to-sort of like a couple who haven't really found themselves yet, but they found eachother.
