Old Wounds Die Hard.

Old Wounds Die Hard.

A Poem by Fear Corrupts!
"

A teenage boy who was verbally abused throughout highscool, develops mental problems (a result from the bullying) causing him to mass murder his classmates in later years for revenge.

"

          Old Wounds Die Hard

" Many years ago
     Hurtful words were said.  "

Troubled little Charles,
A quiet teenage boy.
Hit his hard time's during school,
As his peer's favourite mocking toy
.

Timid Charles Valnerupt,
Sat through his beating's and cried.
But every passing insult said,
Anger and insanity built up inside.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Later after highschool,
Charles kept words said to heart,
He hunted down his class of '78,
And pulled his classmate's apart
.

Charles shot his affliction,
For he was too far gone for help.
Corrupted from the years of bashing,
He later shot himself
.

* Bleeding from the heart,
* Pulsing through the head.
* Shooting through the pain,
* Avenging through the dead.

" Many years ago
      Hurtful words were said
        Consequences later followed
                 Through lifeless liquid red "

Author's Note

Fear Corrupts!
I don't know what made me want to write about this topic, but here it is anyway, a poem about a bullied teen who later murders his classmate's.
What do you think?

This is dope! I wrote a short story about something similar. Pain runs deep and for a long period of time, and you captured it very poetically with a great story in front of it. I love the hues and the way you set up the different stanzas. All of your stuff is different and entertaining. I'm honored(and we all are) to read your stuff regularly....
