song of childhood

song of childhood

A Poem by Esther
"

10/27/18

"
song of childhood
distorted lullaby
reminding you of
forgotten memories
inhale, exhale
who's breath was that?
hurts to remember
something once forgotten
at the sound of a
song of childhood

wow, seeing this from one perspective there is such a heavy tone...the idea of abuse...whose breath?
and who suffers the guilt...the object of this poem...unfortunately, the innocent suffer...and those childhood songs get really distorted...like a vinyl record with too many scratches.
