True hero

True hero

A Poem by Fey Frost

I look back at this distraught
regret all those battles once fought

We take pleasure in others loss
And command ourselves their boss

Have them kneel before us as loyal
Believe ourselves set to be royal

But we are foul beings of selfishness
We know it but feel helplessness

Few of us has experienced true love
Like in a flock of crows, hard to find a dove

In the night's sky a star glitters
Feeling helpless towards all the bitters

"A true hero never fails his people"
Then again, we are all feeble

Hero, villain or hybrid of the both
But dare you witness a villain's loath

Are we truly heroes do we imagine it?
Or are we villains waiting for a bomb to be lit

Believe in yourself it'll set you free
We are all heroes, to some degree
