Sick Reality

Sick Reality

A Poem by Jane Doe

Screaming inside
I never knew what it's like
To be insane
To be crowned the queen of insanity

My peasants now down
The guards and I have a stare down
In which I always win and to
Prove it I grin from ear to ear

But just cause I'm queen doesn't
Mean I'm free
It means I'm more captive than I was before
Because now I have a reason to stay

Which I will weigh pros and cons
But I could never decide
Between my crown
And my sick reality

But all I know
I can't spend another night in this s**t hole.

living in a hell you can get out of but might choose to stay for any reason is some of the worst kinda hell to live in. i hope you found something beyond this moments. This is a really good build up to a very powerful closing. again i'm Lovin' it.
