OH THOSE HEROES...

OH THOSE HEROES...

A Poem by FlawedByDesign
"

I sat down one day and decided to tell a story using nothing but -ear rhymes.

"

OH THOSE HEROES…

Reformed racketeers,
Modern day cavaliers,
Eclipsing frontiers.
Heroes shed no tears.

Resigned over the years,
Modest peace engineers,
Subduing our fears.
Heroes shed no tears.

The conflict nears,
Grinding war gears,
Protecting their peers.
Heroes shed no tears.

Again, you were able to write a really good poem. I'm impressed! It makes me wish I were good at poetry, haha. :)

I really love the way you use rhyming to your advantage. It really, really works. Lots of people sound like three-year-olds when they try to rhyme in their poems, but yours don't do that.

Keep up the good work!
