A WOMAN'S TEARS

A WOMAN'S TEARS

A Poem by FlawedByDesign

A WOMAN’S TEARS

The world resides in her eyes behind
the incandescent vitality of youth.
Trapped in the fluorescence of her tears
sleeping in the fabric of her dreams.

Effervescent freckles in her gaze
a reflection of beauty within.
An imaginary island; perfection
painted in the bright minds of old.

A single teardrop drips down her cheek
across the universe of her starry face.
It illumines the world held within
echoing the innocence of her years.

Remit the release of her purity
let it not shatter by way of woe.
Kiss her divine face with your fingers
and return the tear to its rightful place.

Sacred are a woman’s tears.

***The story is about the importance of a woman's tears (hence sacred) because the world resides inside and would shatter if the tear was to ever slide off her face.

"An imaginary island; perfection
painted in the bright minds of old." - refers to Utopia.

This is sweet, and the message was pure as snow :) I liked this poem a lot (from the other's that I've read), and I like the third stanza the best. And as the other reviews stated... smashing.. beauty... wisdom. There is a meaning behind this leaves me feeling like I'm not alone. Thanks, and I'm sure you'll keep up the writing! :D

This is a beautifully soft and sweet acrostic, a homage to the beauty of a woman's tears.

My favorite line:

"across the universe of her starry face."

Your writing is so gentle and yet has such an impact.I like how you said..Kiss her divine face with your fingers
and return the tear to its rightful place.
Sacred are a woman’s tears.
Those three lines were breathtaking and did such a wonderful ode to women.I am touched.

This is absolutely beautiful, something all men should know. Every woman's tears have an innocent reason behind it.
The lines:
"It illumines the world held within
echoing the innocence of her years.

Remit the release of her purity
let it not shatter by way of woe.
Kiss her divine face with your fingers
and return the tear to its rightful place." - were absolutely stunning! WoW.

"Sacred are a woman’s tears." - and this is a truth forever.

Absoulutely smashing...very potent and I know how hard is to write on this way. You do the fairer sex justice for sure a nice tribute to the importance of female emotion. I would swithc out the sord Illumines for illuminates but that is just a personal preference, both work. Nice job, I loved this.
