RED RIDING HOOD

RED RIDING HOOD

A Poem by FlawedByDesign

RED RIDING HOOD

Room full of wolves
in sheep’s clothing,
making small talk,
strutting their bravados…

then she walked in.

The fire in her eyes
masked by the cowl
playing coy on her face.

Her elegance, provocative;
educing ravenous
looks of hunger,
fetching tongues
to come out and play.

But she is not
the meal for tonight…
THEY ARE.
