My World

1-12-10

In my world
I do not know
the loyalty of a friend,
the unconditional love
of a parent,
the unbroken bond
of a sibling.
I do not know
what it's like
to not be betrayed,
to trust someone completely,
to not be afraid.
I do not know
all these things
that you take for granted
because
my world has never been safe.
In my world
things like
love, hope and friendship
are snatched away
because of jealousy,
because of greed,
because I am me.

Wow, it's like looking through the eyes of a depressed person. if you think about it, some of those things that r in that person;s world is in our world. i guess this could a perspective from someone...anyway nice write you have here!
