The Black Haired Prince and The Black Haired Twin

The Black Haired Prince and The Black Haired Twin

A Poem by floralhorror

Long ago

A story was told

Of a black haired prince

And his black haired twin.

Their story

Shall I let you hear it?

Yes I shall.

The black haired prince was evil

His black haired twin was good

Mirror images of each other

It is said they were.

The black haired prince like painting

His black haired twin did too

All day they would sit in a hall of mirrors

The black haired twin painting a girl clad in green

The black haired prince painting that green clad girl smeared in red.

The black haired twin fell in love with the girl clad in green

The first day he saw her at the markets

The black haired prince despised the green clad girl

Oh, how he despised her.

The black haired prince obsessed with jealousy

His black haired twin was his

His black hared twin was his.

The black haired prince summoned his black haired twin

Who would do anything for his black haired prince

In a voice no louder than a whisper the black haired prince muttered

'Destroy the girl clad in green'.

The black haired prince laughed

But his black haired twin's tears wouldn't stop.

The black haired twin shut away his emotions

And unlocked the door to the monster living inside him

The beast stretched, flexed its claws, and bared his teeth

The beast is out, now it's time to hunt.

It's said that at this point

It was hard to tell

That if the black haired twin

Was really the black haired twin

Or if the black haired twin

Was the monster inside.

Slinking through the night

Emotionless as a doll

The black haired twin

unsheathed his dagger.

With a sinsiter smile,

The monster inside roared

Which is the twin?

Which is the monster?

The monster spotted the green clad girl

The black haired twin smiled and beckoned for her to follow

The monster roared

And the green clad girl followed, giggling.

The black haired twin wrapped his arms around the green clad girl

And with a seductive smile she kissed him

The monster roared

and the black twin haired cried.

With a kiss to the green girl's shoulder

The monster inside took over

The monster is now the black haired twin

And the black haired twin locked inside.

The monster laughed

As the green clad girl screamed

And the black haired twin inside sobbed

As the green clad girl died.

The monster smiled

As he kissed the red smeared girl on the shoulder

No longer was she clad in green

Like the twin inside had loved her.

Switching with the black haired twin

The monster inside was satisfied

No longer would his black haired prince

Be bothered by this red smeared girl.

Stumbling through the dawning day

The monster inside snored

The black haired twin entered the hall of mirrors

Coming red smeared face to red smeared

With his back haired prince he so adored.
