Again Alone

Again Alone

A Poem by Florencia Vallejo

Again,
I pushed them away.
Again,
I'm by myself.

Alone and lonely are the same.
Don't fool yourself,
You feel a hole in your chest
And can't fill it by yourself.

Even the strongest woman
Needs her girls by her side,
In times of sadness
And times of smiles.

I am at fault,
That is something I accept.
I want to amend my mistakes
But I don't know how.

Friendless
Lonely
Alone,
That's how I live now.
