Till I see you

Till I see you

A Poem by AquaWriter
"

For my aunt who just recently past dealing with bone cancer

"

Why didn’t you tell anybody you were sick?

Why were you afraid of doctors?

Afraid of the news they may give you

Afraid of the pain

You and your family would go through

Afraid of suffering the same fate as your parents

Although you smoked

It was what you wanted to do

You were a gift from god

A true saint

My uncle’s true love

For these past 36 years

You were his best friend and still are

It’s not goodbye for now

It’s just see you later

I will…

See you sing in the choir of angels

See you relax near the golden ocean

See sit with enemies turned to friends

I will see you
