A Poem by Floundering About

One might every moment know

one will die, but

one gets bored.

Might two forget?

Knowing and Forgetting

are not so far

in fact

I visited their flat

yesterday.

Or was that two days ago?

Anyway

one works

in a library

filing books

most of the day.

The other

leads sky diving flights.

I can’t remember which

is which.

I only just met them.
