Amber Blood of Trees, Heal Me

Amber Blood of Trees, Heal Me

A Poem by Cardinal Robin

Celtic Blessings From God

Amber Blood of Trees, Heal Me

Amber is in my blood

for my love of Mother Earth and Ardor

I held you close to me before

and though I retreat

from your golden sunlight toffee

hardened over centuries of stars,

the Eons of my existence prior

wants you, to love you, Harder

Yea I do approach the saps

and chew their essence for relief

my gooey fine resin chops

may indeed be duly sated…

but what I found when I reached

toward your center rings,

I may not understand it,

am I completely…jaded?

I consult my “Guides” from ethers,

Darkness voiding clusters of me

Hemes shrinking for fear of shattering

whatever I would hold dear.

I demand they give this treason treacherous

a reason, a motive, a discernment

of critical balance or connection

it is our only Hope for Resurrection…

“THEY” tell me:

AMBER carries the vibration of organic life…

…perhaps that is why it feels warmly familiar.

AMBER nurtures warmth in the inner being

and activates the life force, including our desire

for healing and wellbeing.

AMBER-vision is my BLOOD

Help me see the pathways

to my personal evolution

Fill my resolutions with SUN-courage

Confidence and I will step meekly

with LAMB’s feet and a LION’s roar.

ALL I need is your WORDS,

your friendship, and your willingness

to walk with me once more…

I promise to be mindful

and respectful of our bond…

In resin of trees,

blood of my HEART,

romantic to the marrow core of me…

won’t you let us beat the darkness

into GLORIOUS submission?

Robin

I love this one - it's so beautiful. The imagery is gorgeous, orginal and well thought out - I really like how you tackle all the states and attributes of amber - the liquid, sticky sap, the color, the crystal-like hardening, the glimmering... very evocative and well-covered! You might want to add something about the piney smell of sap, though - then you would have tackled all the senses!

Okay I have got to say that my thoughts reach back to the 'old-world' which is an absolute great thing when reading youyr pieces. This one especially. The scewning in my mind is something you would see Lon Cheney in... I think you are brilliant and your ability to push your message across to us is by far; astounding and you seem to exasperate the reader quite well.
Write hard my new friend

Even to the very choice of font you nailed it

I like it and all the message it imparts. I like the diversity of your craft presented in different pieces. This is a unique thing. and presents great flexibility.

A wonderful piece.

I see, where you are going with this. It is the message of a belt of heavens, the Zodiac and its representation of your apparent positions in astrological system. r w EMERSON said, zodiac of feasts and fasts.... now I know why your cycles are so perfectly closed and you are are lucky. I liked the line "

AMBER-vision is my BLOOD ---- yes you seem to be a totally Earth person.
Yea I do approach the saps

and chew their essence for relief------ several lines I liked! this one says to me yo like this earthful playfulness mit eastern touch. well done!

I feel the sustaining power of Earth energies and the need for Her in our quest to evolve. From the formed to the formless, we all carry Her, and She us. What stands out most in this poem is also the name "Amber", one who is a close friend to you. So, for those who know, there is an obvious double meaning to this poem, and it is interesting that you equate a meaningful relationship with this friend with a meaningful relationship to Earth's energies as well. Very nice, Robin. Much love to you, my friend.....

Wonderful poem, Robin. Truly a delight to read. The cocentric circles of the tree speaking to you in wisdom. Just beautifully divine. Thank you. I adore it.
