Adolescent Identity

Adolescent Identity

A Poem by forgotten_ghosts

My name is made
out of denial, cigarettes and marked cards
I've always been poisoned by small city hearts
haunting small minded boys with small cars
discussing their future underneath the stars
acting like adults
and criticizing everybody acting likewise

This is the perfect description of an adolescent. Adolescents tend to think they are always correct. They always oppose others and condemn what they say. They are neither children, nor adults, but sometimes they act too childishly and sometimes too maturely. Well-written. Keep writing.

Exactly!
Thank you for your review!
I will!
fun-
because we've all been those kids pretending to be adults
so wise...
with the small minds,
and criticizing

good one here... wished it was even longer
