Blurred Vision

Blurred Vision

A Poem by Daniel Fourie
"

Wishful thinking.

"
For the past few months I've been trying to make you see
Only to realise that it's me with the blurred vision

You may be the one wearing glasses
but I'm the one who needs them the most
with my eyes full of mist and wishful hope

From distant to close, yes
From close to more, no
How simple of me to think that we could meet later

Sorry for wasting your time
when all along you were perfectly fine
So maybe I'll become new
now that I know, I'm not
good enough
for you

I both agree and disagree with Glen.

those lines capture this verse and the rest fills in the blanks of this read...
