The Never Ending Road

A Winding road

An enigma never told

Beware of the road's treachery

You’ll lose yourself to it.

Beware of its turns and breaks

The lives of the people the road takes

Beware of its cryptic, selfish heart

You’ll lose yourself to it.

You see I’ve paved this road,

I have built it with stones and bricks, a load.

I was warned of its treachery

But instead, I lost my self to it.
