my future

my future

A Poem by freelancejouster

i must be fainthearted,

for my future is unknown

full of twisted shadows,

heads bent together in secretive arguments,

brash whispers,

hints of what's to find.

it's full of sparks of sunrise,

the glint of a smile,

an open world,

with you at my side.

brimming with the ache of age,

the twists of fate,

fuzzy pictures

with so much to hide.

The future has several names. For the weak, it is the impossible. For the fainthearted, it is the unknown. For the thoughtful and valiant, it is the ideal.
-Victor Hugo

honestly, honesty's all i want.
