stationary wandering

stationary wandering

A Poem by freelancejouster

they ask me what i'm waiting for
and the surprise that registers in their eyes,
when they realize that i have no idea
is kind of frightening.

widening circles of soul,
pointing judgmental fingers
without moving their limbs.

i'm a little bit impressed,
more accepting,
and mostly questioning:

have they never been this lost before?
