I don't rhyme about time or any other f*****g line

who's to say what's write & wrong or if it sounds like a song

what's it worth in dollars and sense to be blown away

do you look at my bank account or just read my poetry

is this a popularity contest or based on how we are stirred

poetry is about creating & recreating the essence of life,

releasing the kraken, unleashing the gusto of lifeblood

move me and i'll respond, I don't care if you're the in crowd

a mere teen with pimples or a depressed adult monstrosity

it's the sheer joy of words and sharing our bloody emotions

I don't mind if you make a mess and there's brain matter oozing

heartfelt guts dripping from your quill, we have a clean up crew

it's me & you, and everyone here with their pens in a twist

purge it all over the fooking place even if you've felt judged

there's some satisfaction in falling down and letting it all hang out

 & none whatsoever in holding back and making retractions

DAMN!!! Preach it sister.... words of utter truth. To hell with judgement....this isn't a social club. Like I've told you we all have a story... and we all express it in our own way. I want the words to move me....make me cry..sigh...scream...dance. I don't care about form, style, rhyme or length as long as I react in some way. Art is freedom not being constrained by some one else's rules. Release the kraken...let love flow...moan with passion. Just WRITE it how you FEEL it!!! This is f*****g fantastic.... ;-)

Somewhat straightforward with the obvious metaphor here and there, quite the symbiotic mix that makes poetry all the more enjoyable. Inspiring to even the meticulous hermit trying to convince himself HE is in fact refusing the other group. This may even make for a great motivational speech afront a group of protesters.
Might I also say this is why I admire graffiti in a way. The general aspect of having the world itself as your canvas entices me.

Haha it certainly sounds like one ;P As many have already noted, you've once again been able to crystallize a situation and bring it to life, all within the framework of fairly short poems that feel like epics when read slowly...you've also become quite good at articulating the condition of an artist...I know you've worried about predictability in the past but this is another element of your voice that seems to be evolving...so I guess it goes without saying that I love this piece ;)
