~How shall I pen thee?

~How shall I pen thee?

A Poem by Frieda P
"

COLLABORATION ~ Frieda & Jack

"
How shall I pen thee, let me cipher the ways
pure bliss wafting on crystalline seascapes
ravishing the cerulean ripples of time's eye
deep and darkly ranges of mountainous clouds
devoured by eclipses of the moon's rage

lyrical verse of a rhythm’d release floating on
sweet chorded ventures in breath-taking time
sheet music love letters tossed to the deep
sandcastle dream waves now captured
in sunset wisdom, tangerine promises whispered

Waltzing on thin ice whilst reaching the stars
dancing under sunbursts crushing burn
you surrendered your heart within my hands
stepping outside reality's gated bridges
i'm flying loftily high on your script'd tunes

melting, moon beam reflections in your eyes
pouring into me, slowly, sweetly as I blush
rose garden pastels on your lips…quivering
melodies of autumn leaf descent, lilting fantasies float,
resting within the crescendo of your love

In every age there is a mechanic determinism that imposes itself upon the art and artist that abides in that sliver of time. It is as though lesser Vermeers have rallied in support of guilders and in so doing have provided bread to the sellers of minerals and oil - the ingredients that grind true art into a framed submission. Every painting has its flaws otherwise it would not be human. This is very human.
