Sadden'd violin strings

Sadden'd violin strings

A Poem by Frieda P
"

~whispering unto raven's breath

"
 sadden'd violin strings
     wreak havoc
         in the torrid rain
 pouring out flutter of hearts
        within melodic aqueous bliss
   whispering unto raven's breath
      dancing upon fire 'tween
           the dewdrop'd baubles
   splashing in spirits of darkly
         relentless melancholy echoes

I love Lindsey. I have been a fan of her for a long time. Beautiful artwork and amazing poetry. I like the way you led the reader into a calm sadness. The violin played with skill. Can steal our heart and mind. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

I love your style - it's so very unique. And the addition of the music (although not necessary because your poetry can stand alone easily) only makes it better...

Thanks for visiting and this glowing review Rachael, much appreciated.
aqueous bliss.... nice. Sly dog.
Great poem Frieda.
This chick with the violin is crazy.
Is she a raccoon in one of those clips, or is that an elf?

Thanks so much, she's amazing, isn't she?
violins can make you cry, they vibrate at the speed of melancholy echoes, and yes wreak havoc.. using my kindle and so can't yet hear the music you embedded... Frieda, from the torrid rains to aqueous bliss and raven's breath we are treated to beautiful expressive poetry.. I read your poem and then had to glue together the pieces of my heart.. I still hear the echoes.. ~~redzone

The music is enchanting, so much passion and emotion comes from some where very deep and even deeper still is your poem my friend. This is absoluetly beautiful Frieda. I can tell you were moved by the music and I can assure you, if the violinist were to read this, she too would be just as moved. It is amazing to me how you can take something as wonderful as this music and make it even more gorgeous with your words. You know how music effects me...almost...almost as much as your poetry... sliding this one right into my favorites.

This is beautiful. I like the line that says, "dancing upon fire 'tween the dewdrop'd ." the contrast between water and fire really adds a sort of rhythmic movement. Yet, the introduction of raven's and darkly spirits seem to keep the dance between the two in place. Moreover, the music that you chose to pair with the piece was perfect. I just can't get over how wonderful this all is.
