~ dancing in delirium's breath

Lost my grip of sanity one prolific twilight

  awash in splendiferous grandeur

wrapped in fiery heat of your verse's bliss

 i drink from its' licentious magical fountain

    breathless, you sent me swooning

ecstasy of bursting stars

   dancing in symbiotic motion

upon harmonious whirling moons 

   prancing in the danger of your toxic sublimity

     absymal profundity sharp as sword strokes

 sinful soul's zestfulness

          strapp'd in hysteria's restraints  

 derangement under a hypnotic spell,

          felicitously breathing in delirium

pain and pleasure of a  paradisiacal tonic,

             aching in this fix'd addiction

you invoke my sweet psycho

             touched by your trenchant reality

immerse'd me in your marinating juices

         if this is madness, i maniacally acquiesce

savoring this tangy nectar'd oblivion

                  dancing amidst crazed fever's tumult

endlessly luxuriating in your poetic frenzy

Heat emanates from your lines and my mind is dipping and whirling along with each word. Theirs a sense of frenzied lust here. A complete loss of composure and control...a stripping away of the niceties. The entire last stanza blew my skirt up and off!! No strawberries needed.... can't go out for a smoke though. ;-pxo

This is the effect I'd like to have on people with my writing. There are a lot of liquids in this one...the fountains, nectar, tonic, among other things, and a lot of subsequent drinking...I want to say bottoms up, but that would undermine the seductive might of this piece, and boy do you know how to seduce. There also seems to be a lot of madness here, with its swooning, hysteria, spells and so on. But madness has never tasted so sweet. The madness evoked is Dionysian in many ways...it certainly feels as though the god of wine was a muse in this instance...I maniacally acquiesce to the ever-sublime musings of Mrs.R...wonderful work as always...xo

Wow, your imagery is out of control (in a good way). This piece was a great example of irony and having the words mean something other than its own definition, creating a vivid work of art.
