In this stillness...

In this stillness...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

that's where I'll meet you

"
In this stillness
      where no breath is audible
where violaceous storm clouds
           seize the night
beseeching a calmness
                      in its intentions
when compassion flows
                   into crevices of pain
and grace takes a giant stride
                       in man's footsteps,
star's align in perfect symmetry
                              of truth's authenticity
& genuine purity of friendship's
                          faithfulness never falters
in the ether'd dust particles amidst
               mankind's rising dawn,
that's where I'll meet you halfway
                         'tween moon's amber light

Still partaking in friendship even when nothing is needed, still feeling the bond with them despite no necessity for them, and enjoying the presence of a companion in the neutral stance, and enjoying every minute of it. This piece shows the purity of friendship and the soft bliss that accompanies a companion, even in times of contempt. Well done, indeed.

High praise coming from you Tate, thanks i kind of liked this one myself.
Sometimes there is nothing like stillness to understand how blessed we are...

"in the ether'd dust particles amidst
mankind's rising dawn,
that's where I'll meet you halfway
'tween moon's amber light

A new dawn is surely rising...with your poetry! This is mind blowing.

Yes I'm totally obsessed with her now, thanks, glad you enjoyed this one.
compassion, grace,
lines trace the wonders
compassion the sponge
empathy lights the path
Battered, yet a pulse,
the air rises, the light warms,
the cool steel forecasts
your message to my ear,
a locomotive nears,
Control is felt long before it is seen,
the band awaits,
liberate or domesticate
ah a Valentine,

~ too funny!
The calm before the passion storm… softly seductive and truly romantic. Love seeing the softer side of you.

That's totally captivating and touching. When it comes to friendship, I'll always believe that it's a blessing to find a true one.

Wonderful!

Like minds and all that jazz. ;-)
Another day, another masterwork from Mrs.R...the first two lines are fitting as I almost have to hold my breath to take in all little flashes of brilliance. You know the drill my friend...you post something, I gush over it, but not because you're my friend, because you're a brilliant writer...xo
