~ lost wildflowers

A Poem by Frieda P
"

neath a shady bloom

"
lost wildflowers
        neath closed windows,
                       dither'd  bloom's shudder
               wilting in arrested fantasies
rhythm  of sun's betrayal
          faded in interruption's tune
   essence'd fragrance
              fallen beneath the cracks,
        no escaping rhymes's paradoxical roots
           sway'd under a moon's dark melody
maestro's scathing notes conduct'd
keys of C major's dusky tunes
                 F sharp's inauthentic glow
    sans relief from brutal digging
      mortification's dirty little secret
  buried deep within soil'd cover
              wither'd on the vine

This poem captures the music in words, which is no easy feat. I am glad you included the music along with your poem, it was great to see your thought process in an otherwise thoroughly sensual poem. The visualization was great; the almost giddy babble of eloquent words and phrases such as "rhythm of sun's betrayal". This line flows so well and ties in with the feeling of a flower waving and bending under the hot sun in a field.
I won't try to over-interpret it, because to figure out the poem's meaning to a T would be to destroy it, but even without meaning it is a beautiful read. Great poem, every word was almost tangible.

The angst in the song matches the mood of this piece. It reminds of how we all get lost in something, life, sorrow, love. We all have to find our way but until then we're all over the place, wild even. Wonderful writing Mz. lady.

Like the interaction of two themes here, that fit together very well

Beautiful imagery... I liked the way you twisted the poem with some "PARADOXICAL ROOTS" & then you tuned that all into the "MELODIES" with emotions. Great job! ;)

Frieda, I've seen you’re comments throughout my travels, always meaning to stop by, this morning I did, I started to read, then… to my surprise a hunting melody so familiar began to play. I stopped; I quickly refreshed, I waited for that first note, then started from the begging… I've done that 3 times now… and all I can think to say is thank-you… as of today I am a subscriber :)

That was Genius…

Frieda

This spoke to me. I have always thought of myself as growing in between the cracks of concrete. Yet I still try. Good to read you.
