Life is not Chance

Life is not Chance

A Chapter by Ethan Paz
"

Life is not chance. There is a source for everything. Just look to God for wisdom.

"

Man’s life is a coin

People would like to tell us

But I disagree and shall never

Agree to their philosophy.

Whether heads or coins

God or no God there is a right

It is hard to see the light

For man has shed truth into night.

Listen to me

Where did morality originate from

It can’t just come

Don’t listen to those so called philosophers

And wise man, they are mere fools.

Life is not chance

Ask the why’s about life

And you shall be wiser than the wise.

Wisdom is plain and truth is simple.

Wisdom and truth are both God’s.

I like the thought behind this, but I would suggest refraining from the line "God or no God there is a right". The reason is that that line suggests there possibly could be no God, but in the last line you say that "Wisdom and truth are both God's." indicating that their is indeed a God. It is a bit confusing in that matter. Other than that, it is a good perspective and a good piece. Kudos.

this is philosophy, a good poem.

i like the subject matter,
thinky poem. thnky poems work ahhhhh a giant spider on my pants..... there i killed it with williams carlos williams.... man huge!

ANYWAYS, this poem is so good but you dont need to ryme.

maybe if you carry the poem with its voice it wouldnt need the ryming? just my thought. you have an excellant voice in this poem, (makes it interesting) and that would carry the poem well. bye raining.
