You Set Me Free

You Set Me Free

A Chapter by Ethan Paz
"

God set us free by Christ alone. This is a song describing what God has done for us.

"

You sit on Your throne;

You judge righteously alone.

Sinners bow the knee

How high forever You wilt be.

As I gaze into Your eye

A sinful sinner I do cry.

Wondering what I can do

To make a perfect appeal to you.

You came, You saved

You set me free!

From the bondage of sin

That kept me in

To the chains of hell.

You came, Your saved

To set me free!

And forever wilt I

Glorify Thee!

And in that day

I see faces that are in dismay.

What a dreadful loss

To go into hell and perish lost!

As I see this sight

The Savior welcomes me.

To spend with Him

In heaven for all of eternity!

You came, You saved

You set me free!

From the bondage of sin

That kept me in

To the chains of hell.

You came, Your saved

To set me free!

And forever wilt I

Glorify Thee!

And when I see

Your body that was nailed to the tree.

The scars that bore

The salvation to set me free!

And as I fall

I weep and see your face.

Forever wilt I

Glory and sing of Your grace!

You came, You saved

You set me free!

And now forever

Will I glorify Thee

Of your grace given to me

You came, You saved

You set me free!

And forever wilt I

Glorify Thee.

I found that there is hope in your lyrics a sence of strenght a place to turn when we lose our way, and you so elegantly show us that there is another way!
