Give Me One More Chance

Give Me One More Chance

A Chapter by Ethan Paz
"

Failure raises a desire to serve the Lord God Almighty.

"

Give me one more chance!

Give me one more chance!

Give me one more chance

To live my life before you!

Oh, I know that I’ve failed

I know I could’ve done better today.

I know I missed your mark;

My eyes have just gone astray!

But I’m willing, oh my Father

To follow wherever you lead me.

Just give me one more chance

To live my life before you.

God, I know I looked at the temporal

And I know I mocked your name.

But God I was blinded by my sin

The demons had dwelt inside of me!

But I’ve been saved, oh my Father

To see the light that’s before me.

And now I’m willing, my God

To follow that lightened road.

Give me one more chance!

To live that life I’ve been called!

Give me one more chance!

I’ll do my best, my all in all!

Give me one more chance

To live my life before you!

Cause Jesus I love you

And I don’t want to run away from You again.

You see where I go

The dreary road I had gone today.

You saw that I mocked your holy name

Despised thy body which rose from the grave.

But God, I’m willing to follow!

No longer to run from you again!

Just lead me Father!

Lead me unto thy precious name!

Give me one more chance!

To live that life I’ve been called!

Give me one more chance!

I’ll do my best, my all in all!

Give me one more chance

To live my life before you!

Cause Jesus I love you

And I don’t want to run away from You again.

Give me one more chance!

Give me one more day!

Give me your grace!

To glorify thy name!

Let me glorify thy name.

Let me glorify thy name.

Let me glorify thy name.

Glorify thy name.

Oh, Jesus I love you.

I love you.

Oh, Jesus I love you.

Just let me glorify thy name!

Give me one more chance!

To live that life I’ve been called!

Give me one more chance!

I’ll do my best, my all in all!

Give me one more chance

To live my life before you!

Cause Jesus I love you

And I don’t want to run away from You again.

Oh, no

I don't want to run away from You again.

I know all about that failure. My conscience has not let me forget that for the last two days. I just pray that this is my consequence and praying nothing else happens that could affect others. Your writing speaks to me and I am very grateful for you sharing with me.

A beautiful and hopeful prayer of hope. We need hope and faith to keep us going forward with dreams and possibility. A excellent ending to a outstanding poem.

Good hymn like write. It is not being given the chance but taking advantage of chances given.
