Unseen

Unseen

A Poem by A.M.P.
"

For all the unseen people.

"

She lives in a place where nobody goes,

like a baby never born out of the womb.

A summer harvest when nothing grows;
she's a prisoner in a hidden tomb.

They have looked but they've never seen
the soul reaching out from inside.
A crippled spirit on which nothing to lean;
all she can do is hide.

Lost within a forgotten place,
an unopened book on a dusty shelf.
Her mind is in the far corners of space,
slowly drifting away on herself.

She's now left to a place up above,

a world where she can find true love.

I liked the concept
Pretty regular rhyme scheme but written without attention to meter which makes stutter when read aloud

Fantastic for such a quick write. Your rhythm breaks a little on the first line of the second stanza but that's easily fixed. It has a very desolate feel. :)
