Infinite Arms

Infinite Arms

A Poem by gabiaimee
"

I wonder who belongs to the arms.

"
With my infinite arms
I reach out from the abyss,
but only a few hands take mine.

If I do not choose to carry myself,
I will plummet into oblivion
and they will all fall with me.

This reminds me of something that is a historical quote, Cleopatra, Mary Queen of Scots, any powerful Queen. It sounds lie a noble woman speaking her mind, Athens, The Royal Court, anywhere.

Like a page from history.

The message in this is wonderful. We cannot afford to rely on anybody but ourselves, ironically, people who rely on us will fall with us, as they did not heed the advice.
