Find Something

I want to see the whole world
but this moving back and forth
keeps me away from a home
I feel I no longer have.

I'm a hopeless wanderer
really needing a place,
a place or a person
to go home to at night.

I need a constant,
a shelter for me
a comfort to hold
so close to my heart.

I'm still waiting
to find something,
something of mine
to keep for now.

I need it,
some shelter,
just something.
Give me Home.

Come home,
find me,
just stop
searching.

I left home at 18 years old. I saw 40 countries and lived or touch 48 states. I landed 10 miles from the place of my birth.

This is a rather nice piece.
