Crystal Wine Glass

Crystal Wine Glass

A Poem by Gabrielle E. M. T.
"

This is a strange concrete acrostic poem thing that I wrote for a contest. It took me like 5 minutes but I thought is was an interesting challenge.

"

Can I assist you with your drinking on this night?

Rim pressed gently against your parched lips.

You long for something that will bite.

Strong taste with every tiny sip.

Tonight will never be.

Alcohol a cure.

Long

Will

It

Now

Ease.

Go

Lie

Alone,

So sick,

Sight just a blur.
