Look at us now.
We are past the age of running full speed through piles of leaves we've spent hours raking. . Mother baking biscuits and ham for dinner appears at the door shaking her head but smiling. Those days of innocence of you and me seven and three years old respectively are gone. . They disappeared like smoke from the smoldering fire set to burn those leaves Daddy decided we weren't a family anymore and we went off to live in another man's house. . Oh, how that man hated us because our daddy had cheated with the man's sorry wife. It wasn't Daddy's fault she decided to have the baby everyone claimed was our daddy's... . So life for us wasn't days of playing running full speed through the leaves anymore Days were only for raking and chores but one thing did pay off somehow Out of all that heartbreak, heartache and sorrow, we gained another chubby, red faced boy! Look at us now!
