Friendship of gold

Friendship of gold

A Story by Gentlemandapper
"

Two friends's friendship is tested through morality, prinicples and friendship values when one of them acquires wealth inside a game.

"
Once upon a time, Bob had a friend and both had known each others since childhood.
One day, Bob's friend acquired a lot of gold for having suffered an accident in a game.
When Bob's friend mentioned this, Bob asked "Could you give me all of the money,
since you are going to throw it away?"
Conflicted Bob's friend said "No, no one should have it, this gold should never have existed to begin with".
Bob disagreed and quietly walked away. The friend started to burn the gold until there was nothing left.
Bob was nowhere to be seen, Bob's friend waited, eager to play the game together.
One day passed... two days passed... a week passed, a month... But Bob never showed up and the friends who had known each others for such a long time, never talked to each others again.

The End.

To think about:
Should Bob's friend have broken her morality and give away the gold. Or should Bob support his friend's decision in destroying it?
Was Bob's friend a good friend for denying the demands of Bob, since they had known each other for such a long time?
Was Bob right to break a friendship over his friend's decision?
What was more important? That Bob was given the gold, or that the friends could happily laugh together for years to come?

You pose a lot of questions, but since this is a writer's venue and not an ethical symposium I have some questions for you.

How can this piece be written to make the reader care about the questions you pose?
Can you write this to cause these questions to arise unbidden?
What can you do to reduce grammatical errors that turn you reader into a skeptic about your sincerity?
How do you burn gold?
