Forest path

Forest path

A Poem by Ghiasquared

Flying with power and grace upon natures breath,
Drawing circles upon the clear bright day,
A scream of hunters passion as he swoops,
The unwary caught in taloned grip,
The forest now silent but for rustling trees,
With leaves crunching underfoot,
The faint sound of rushing water nears,
Growing into thunder near waters edge,
Silently watching the great fisher,
Smelling presence he stands on haunches,
The echo of ownership reverberates upon this valley,
Life and death seems wondrous here,
This time and place seems but a dream,
Do not wake me if you find me asleep,
For I am at peace in tranquil slumber,
An eternity here is my wish,
For here spirit drinks natures wonders,
As I walk this forest path
