The Crystal illussion

Just a thought.

Sometimes i wish I could peer into an

ancient crystal ball,

 

just to see what  our distant future holds,

and to pray that your love will never fall.

 

I walk along a grassy plain, seeking to be

free, and have you by my side, so many

emotions bubble that I'll never be able

to hide, one day I know I will go insane,

and then I'll never be the man you want

to see.

 

I wish I could stare into the vast limitless

ocean of your eyes,

sailing through expectant dreams that

you hold so dear, drifting into where the

secret of your time stopping smile deeply

lies.

 

closing my eyes, my mind lingers in the web

of sleep, holing you through the night, is the

only thought I can keep.

This is beautiful :) I loved the title....it made me curious...although You mispelled illusion, dear :P It happens :D I really can relate to the poem...the image of the crystal ball was a stroke of genius...I hope to read more of You...may Your muse never fail :)

"seeking to be free and have you by my side" - that tells me a lot. You want to be close, yet you want to be free. The age-old paradox I share with my twinflame, whoever he is. "sailing through expectant dreams that you hold so dear" - obviously about idealising love. If you've read my novel, The Looking Glass: Facing the Bad Ghost, I've got a lot of that kind of stuff in there, as I definitely relate to this! Cool...
