Waking Up In Vermont

Waking Up In Vermont

A Poem by GlamGirl
"

A typical spring morning

"

The bright morning sun,

Peeking through the thick forest

Around my house.

The sound of bird calls,

A sign that spring

Is on its way.

The smell of waffles

And maple syrup

Waft up from the kitchen.

I smiled and snuggled deeper

Under my warm covers.

Waking up in Vermont.

You paint a great picture here! Everyone can relate to it because everyone loves waffles and all the things you say. Great read!

The only problem I have with this is I think it should be smile instead of smiled, right? It just sounds better when I say it out loud. Very nice :D
