Tired of Pretending

Tired of Pretending

A Poem by Victoria Elizabeth

Poem about my breakup with my first love..sorry its been awhile since I've written anything.

The way I loved you was crazy.

Like a wildfire picking up speed from the wind.

Hot and heavy

Crazy and trying

That's what we were.

I never want to go back to that feeling when you left

Honestly, I'm not the same girl anymore.

You broke me

You hurt me

I'm tired of it.

Tired of pretending that Im okay.

When for the past six months I've been fighting for your attention

Just a little piece of you

 Well, I'm done

No more

Cuz honestly Im tired of pretending
