Green, like lace

Green, like lace

A Poem by Hannah
"

...

"
Sitting still, silent
Within
Look up, see sunlight
Streaming in
Rise, hand on handle
Freeze
Turn it, step outside
Please

Warm sun, breeze
On face
Reach out, hesitant - green
Like lace.

Pain, searing, tearing
Live
Turning, fleeing, back
Inside
Thunder, babble, consuming
Head
Better dark, to hide
Instead
Tired, fall, withdraw
So near
Closed eyes refuse
To hear

Sink back in fear
To wait
Disappear with
Timid hate.
