A Poem by Jacques - iNkwire

Maybe a metal barrel
can give me kisses on my cheek
Perhaps some rope
can give me the hugs I seek
Perhaps a bottle of pills
will cure me of the ills
from which I am not free
Would a blade's tickle
feel good on softer parts?
Could my veins and my skin
help make abstract art?
And if I so chose,
would I get some repose
if off a cliff I'm thrown?
These are all questions
with answers I'm not sure are known
But of some things I'm sure -
joy is usually mixed in,
yet the current concoction is agony pure

Is absence of hope for clarity a sin?

About
