Headache

Headache

A Poem by Gracynn

These salty tears on my cheek
The result of a year long headache
Before I’d put up a fake
Smile but now it only peaks

Let me drift away from here
To a bed of a thousand white roses
As the metal casket door closes
Don’t give me sad goodbyes dear

For the headaches will end soon
My racing thoughts can be put to rest
Someday you will see this is for better
If you need I can make room

The fake smile hurts so much. Sounds like a heavy burden is carried.

Seems like you are still hiding yourself from others. You can't be wearing mask all the time. Face whatever it is. Hope your racing thought rest with peace and love. Thanks for sharing.
