Death in Symbiosis

Death in Symbiosis

A Poem by gram linski
"

A cheeky nod to Berryman, I'm sure he wouldn't mind,

"
Death in symbiosis
-
shimmering ghostly spectral shadows
of strewn petal shards
slick oil - like upon
the  charlatan shore,
-
crashing/smashing,
-
inhaled in morbid ash
-
finger flicking pale moist lips
into ashtray eyes
-
A
burning urn of dung
etched in paper and ink
( chisel marked sweat, )
upon my headstone  -
literally
carved in stone
-
     -     hahaha   -
-

unchain me now, Henry, you fiend
( from the radiator, )               you fool,
you !

Henry thinks that life is a handkerchief sandwich, so, not sure you'll be able to get him to unchain you from the radiator. Might need to call another friend, haha. But I do think he'd find your burning urn of dung amusing. Might light his cigarette over it. And throw in a little extra ash for good measure.

Cool poem, Gram, gave me a good chuckle. I do think Berryman would have a laugh himself.

Evening in the shadows or an already sleepless night? You've created thoughts here that probably endure through another's change of direction and the smile's here, thinking clever things are afoot!

' finger flicking pale moist lips - into ashtray eyes.. ' clevah!
