Hi Gram, this leaves me with a few different trains of thought.
As an outsider looking on in the way I visualize this, I can see a power struggle of sorts between dueling personalities. Just my thoughts, I rarely interpret these things correctly.
Seems like a happy ending though. I like that.

My other thought was that it might be an abusive relationship.

hanks, Chris, as with all my poems there is hope in the dark, just hope the light is not a fast approaching train, lol, It was written a while ago, I am in a happier place now, posting the older ones gives me perspective , appreciate your views, keep writing those cool poems, I am a fan of your haiku, might have said that before,

i'm not sure if this is what it's about, but the way i interpret the poem is this--

someone struggling with their internalized thoughts. it's taking over them, becoming them almost. they fight it but they can't. well, until they can, as shown in the ending. they learn self love.

i like it. nice job :)
